Crochet Beanie Diagram Round Decoder
Choose what your chart shows. The tool translates one growth round into counted stitches, hand actions, reading direction and an automatic round ledger.
1. What does your diagram use?
Use the pattern key first. This tool never assumes that a beginning chain counts. A slip-stitch join is not added to the counted total unless the designer explicitly says otherwise.
2. Your decoded round
32counted stitches

MARK:
VERIFY:
- counted stitches existed before this round.
- are worked as ordinary stitches.
- are increases: two stitches into one previous stitch.
3. Automatic stitch-count ledger
| Round | Previous counted sts | Planned increases | Ordinary stitches | Expected counted sts | Checkpoint |
|---|
This ledger models evenly distributed growth rounds. If the designer deliberately changes the increase rate, enter that rate or follow the pattern’s stated round count.
